The Design:

Derived from Susan’s painting; it is the embodiment of her visionary soul that linked the whispers of heaven’s eternal light to the beautiful colors of the physical world.
- The Beauty of Two Bouquets of Red Roses:
A forever offering to her exquisite and noble soul, in honor of our two sons—the "angels" of light, with pure and innocent spirits, who remain the reflection of the nobility and grace of their parents this world.
- The Tricolor Ribbon:
A symbol of her pride, and devotion to her sacred land of Iran; the result of ancient roots that polished her soul and inspired her arts.
- The Lilies (Sousan flower):
A delicate tribute to her Persian name. Flowers that will bloom forever on her eternal stone, carrying the exceptional fragrance of her sacred dust with a lingering scent that signifies her everlasting nobility and dignity.
- The Hummingbird, Golden-Winged Myna:
Her favorite messenger and the symbol of her vibrant spirit; now released from the cage of the body and flown toward the highest paradise.
A Testament to a Genius :
Every part of this memorial is a selection of the reflection of light that Susan bestowed upon this world through her arts.
From the drawing of the lines to the design of her symbols of authenticity, it pursues only one goal: so that the world always remembers that extraordinary artist and enamored soul who saw heaven in the colors of the earth.

Not the growth of wisdom or thought, ،نه رشد دانش و اندیشه

Yet, if suffering refines the soul, ،گر رنج، جان اش بپالاید
If fate spreads its wings, ،گر بخت، بال و پر گشاید
If wisdom prevails over whim, ،گر تدبیر چیره بر خیال آید
ز آوارِ جهل، سروی نکو برآید.
From the ruins of ignorance, a noble cypress shall rise.
A roaring lion in the world’s bazaar, ،شیری غرّان به بازار
Free and liberated in speech, ،آزاد و رها، به گفتار
Human radiance in thought, ،فروغِ انسانی به پندار
Tearing through the veils in action. .پرده پرانده به کردار
Creative and a weaver of intellect, ،خلاق و اندیشهپرداز
At ease and free in flight, ،آسوده و رها به پرواز
Revealing the secret from within, ،سر ز درون برون راز
Comfort, joy, liberation! !آسایش، شادی، رهایی
Suddenly, a call arrives: :ناگه نوایی میرسد
It’s time to go! !زمانِ گذر است
An unknown mission, ،مأموریتی نهان
And only love remains of them. و تنها عشق از او میماند.
Many others, however, ،بسیاری دگر امّا
Remain in this repetitive bond, ،در این بندِ تکراری
Left behind and weary, ،وا مانده و در مانده
Actors in the hollow play... …بازیگرانِ نمایشی بیاثر
